Opening of Texas Roadhouse in Green Oak Township

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by the Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce to officially welcome the new business to the Neighborhood.

On May 22nd, Texas Roadhouse in Green Oak Township opened its doors to the general public.

Texas Roadhouse prides itself on a delicious food, outstanding service, and giving back to guests, according to service manager Kate Monroe, who spoke to WHMI.

“We’d want to extend a warm Texas Roadhouse greeting to the City of Brighton. This is a first for the City of Brighton because there isn’t another location nearby. We Would absolutely like to engage with the local community And educational institutions and form a strong partnership with them.

Monroe claimed that Texas Roadhouse’s outstanding team was hand-selected and just finished a 4-day training course in time for the restaurant’s opening.

Monroe stated that the first quality they look for in fantastic employees is a grin throughout the selection and interview process of more than 210 new hires.

“When we first started, we really employed people that had no prior Texas Roadhouse experience, so we’re teaching them from scratch. They were completely unprepared when they arrived. And for today‘s opening, we are so prepared.
